In July 2026, Scottie Club UK was saddened to learn that a member of the club had lost two Scotties in a matter of days, from two unrelated causes. Matt Evans agreed to join Scottie Radio UK to talk about his children, Tartuffe and Willow, and to offer some practical advice to members when the health of our Scotties cannot be saved. It is a very personal tribute to the Scotties and a very moving account all Scottie owners will want to hear.

You can learn more about Tartuffe and Willow in our In Memoriam section.

Following the exciting final of the first ever ScottieVision contest at the end of August 2025, we are now pleased to offer our tune for streaming, downloading, mixing into a ringtone (or is that singtone?) anywhere.

Also if you visit our website, you will see the player in the story. if you press the SHARE button you will see at the top of the player a little arrow pointing down. Click on that and it automatically downloads the 4.3MB file as a song for you to enjoy.

The song, Scottie Pride, performed by Aroo, celebrates the Britain-wide Scottie Club UK and is a pilot for a proper contest for various songs to be held in May 2026 by Scottie Club UK.

You can access the song right here! Also on Spotify or your favourite podcast player app! Enjoy and thanks!

Welcome to ScottieVision, the pilot for a Song Contest to choose a uniting tune for Members of Scottie Club UK in 2025. There will be a choice between two songs crafted for us by the band “Aroo” and called Scottie Pride. Why are we doing this? To raise awarenesss about our beloved Scottish Terriers which can lead to more investment in healthcare for this breed of dog. As well as to celebrate the milestone that Scottie Club UK is now a national network with an expanding number of Meeting Marshals bringing Scotties’ owners together for Walkabouts with their Very Important Pooches throughout the UK! And if you play the songs at home or on your smartphone and your Scotties react by singing along, please do share your videos with us on WhatsApp so that we can distribute them on YouTube, social media and on website ScottieClub.UK !
