      Poet Meenpiyasi is a very renowned poet from Gujarat. His actual name was DinkarRai Keshavlaal Vaidya. And Meenpiyasi was his Takkhalus (Pen name) so He wrote all his works specially poetries under the name Meenpiyasi.
      He belongs to a very small village called Chuda, it is in Surendranagar district and located near Ahmedabad, Gujarat.

      Besides Meenpiyasi's mastery in poetry, he was an ardent ornithologist, theosophist, and astronomer (He used to study sky, stars, and universe very keenly.) And He has written many books on all the subjects of his interest. He was very much attached to the nature and it reflects in his poetry and all his works. That’s why many people call him a lover of nature. He breathed his last at age of 90.

      In this episode of Kaavya, Meepiyasi's grandson pays him a tribute by reciting some of his timeless works.

      She grabbed whatever opportunities came her way, always ready for novel experiences to enrich her personality.
      After graduation and marriage, she associated with a publishing house. When computers came to India, she educated herself on the keyboard, and slowly emerged a master of the art!

      Today, she holds a key position in a software-digital company, dedicated to digitizing Gujarati language. In her free time, Chedda does what she is good at, which is writing poetry!

      Mazhakkalam (The Rainy Season), 1999, his first collection of poems established him as one of the prominent voices in contemporary Malayalam poetry. His poems have been translated into various Indian and foreign languages and are included in several anthologies of Malayalam as well as Indian poetry of the post-modern phase.
