“Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD rises upon you.” — Isaiah 60:1

Following on from Psalm 24 and our focus on the King of Glory, this episode takes us into Isaiah 60:1–2 and the powerful call to arise and shine.

Isaiah speaks of a time when darkness covers the earth, yet the glory of the Lord rises upon His people. This is not a call to simply observe the glory of God—it is an invitation to arise, to step into the light, and to allow His glory to be seen through our lives.

Psalm 24: Make Room for the King of Glory

“Lift up your heads, you gates; be lifted up, you ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in.” — Psalm 24:7

Psalm 24 gives us a powerful picture of who God is and what it means to welcome His presence into our lives. The earth belongs to Him, He is the King of Glory, and He calls us to approach Him with clean hands and a pure heart.

In this episode of Insights with Jonathan Edwards, we explore the message of Psalm 24 and what it means to make room for the King of Glory. What does it mean to seek God wholeheartedly? Truth or Deception? How to Discern What Is Really From God

Deception rarely looks like deception. The enemy often works through what appears convincing, familiar and even right. That is why the Bible repeatedly warns us to be alert, discerning and firmly grounded in the truth of God’s Word.

In this episode of Insights with Jonathan Edwards, we explore the subtle nature of deception and how we can recognise the counterfeit before it leads us in the wrong direction. Just as a sat-nav can confidently give the wrong direction, we can be sincerely following something that appears right while moving further away from God’s purposes.

We will look at how deception operates, why discernment matters, how to test what we hear, and how knowing the truth protects us from being led astray.
