  • Episode 3 — Mothman: Red Eyes Over the River
    4 Oct 2026

For thirteen months in 1966 and 1967, a small town in West Virginia reported something impossible — a tall, winged figure with glowing red eyes, seen by roughly a hundred people before anyone had a name for it. In this episode, host Eldric traces the Mothman sightings from the first reports near Point Pleasant's abandoned TNT area through the leading skeptical explanation (a displaced sandhill crane, far from its usual migration path) and into the story's darkest turn: the collapse of the Silver Bridge, and how a tragedy that killed forty-six people got woven into a legend years after the fact by writer John Keel. This is a different kind of investigation than Bigfoot — no footprints, no film, just eyewitnesses, a timeline, and a question about how a true mystery gets a second, less true story grafted onto it.

  • Episode 2: Bigfoot: The Legend in the Trees
    23 Sep 2026

Bigfoot may be the most recognizable cryptid on Earth — but the real story behind Sasquatch is stranger, older, and far more contested than the popular image of a shy giant in the Pacific Northwest. In this episode, host Eldric traces the legend from its Indigenous roots through the 1958 Bluff Creek footprints, the Patterson-Gimlin film, and even the FBI's own Bigfoot file — while separating confirmed hoaxes from evidence that's never been fully explained. Along the way: why footprints are harder to trust than they look, what eyewitness psychology tells us about sudden encounters in the woods, and why Appalachia — including these very mountains — has its own Bigfoot tradition that predates the modern legend entirely. Tune in Sunday in a small river town where a decade of sightings collided with tragedy.
