Arguably one of the hottest MMA prospects from Long Island, Justin Montalvo is coming off a big first round TKO win at Bellator 274! He is now 5-0 and eager to get back in the cage.

This weekend, Inside The Clinch had the honor of attending their first live event as part of the Media Team. It was an incredible experience and we look forward to returning for future events. Nonetheless, this past weekend was stacked with events in every major promotion including UFC, Bellator, BKFC, Boxing, & more!

We also have the honor of being joined by Bellator's main event winner, Logan Storley. He pulled off a big upset with a 5 round UD against Neiman Gracie. He won just about every round and had the fans jumping out of their seats! He is looking for that title shot next and he sure has earned it.

To conclude the show, we are also being joined by Davion Franklin, the 5-0 heavyweight quickly climbing the Bellator Heavyweight rankings. He faced his biggest test to date and passed with flying colors. He shared that he was sick with bronchitis going into this fight, and was still able to throw volume and power well into the third round. Davion announces his next fight date and shares some experiences with the Jackson Wink gym.

In the co main, the flyweights battle it out for the 3rd time, and once again, they deliver in spectacular fashion. Does it make sense to make a 4th Brandon Moreno vs  Deiveson Figueiredo fight? Michael Pierra, Said Nurmagomedov, and Michael Morales each pick up dubs in exciting fashion. What a great start to the new year! 

With the absence of UFC last week we had all our eyes on Khabibs promotion.  Eagle FC as they now officially had their first event in the USA - Eagle FC 44. Bellator 273 featuring Ryan Bader vs Valentin Moldavsky and Benson Henderson vs Islam Mamedov. Though an overall exciting event it was filled with many controversial decisions. 

Fortunately the UFC is back this weekend! The guys give their official thoughts and predictions on the main fight- Sean Strickland vs Jack Hermanson

Today we had the pleasure to talk to Josh Silveira as he begins a new chapter of his MMA career at the PFL. The LFA double champ is currently 7-0 finishing almost all of his fights in the first round.  He trains with a variety of killers at American Top Team and is hoping to take the million dollar PFL prize! 

On Feb 18, Josh Silveira will be taking on Mohamed Juma in the PFL's first Challenger Series, which will secure them a spot in the 2022 season. 

On this weeks episode, the guys recap the first UFC event of 2022- UFC Vegas 46. The Boston native, Calvin Kattar shocks the world and puts on a spectacular performance against rising contender Giga Chikadze who was undefeated in the UFC prior to his lackluster performance on Saturday night’s main event. In the co-headliner, Jake Collier gets the job done against Chase Sherman. Other fights discussed on this weeks episode include Brandon Royval vs Rogerio Bontorin, Katlyn Chookagian vs Jennifer Maia 2, Dakota Bush vs Viacheslav Borshchev, and  Bill Algeo vs Joanderson Brito. 

This weekend, we have the highly anticipated UFC 270 which will feature two championship fights including Francis Ngannou vs Ciryl Gane for the heavyweight title, and Brandon Moreno vs Deiveson Figueiredo 3 for the flyweight title. The guys break down these respective title fights as well as the rest of the main UFC 270 card.
