Patterson-Gimlin Film: Hoax? Or the Best Bigfoot Evidence Ever? (Part 1)

On October 20, 1967, Roger Patterson and Bob Gimlin captured less than a minute of footage that would become the most famous Bigfoot film ever recorded.

A quick programming note: we know we previously said Episode 3 would focus on the disappearance of Amelia Earhart. But with the release of the Capturing Bigfoot documentary arriving on Prime on October 20, we decided to move our two-part Patterson-Gimlin Film investigation up in the schedule.

In Part 1, Michael Walker and Steven Dudley examine the Patterson-Gimlin film itself: the Bluff Creek encounter, the creature known as “Patty,” the controversial walk and body mechanics, the footprints, the film’s development timeline, and the experts who have spent decades debating whether this was an elaborate hoax or extraordinary evidence of an unknown primate.

Nearly sixty years later, the footage is still being analyzed, challenged, enhanced, and argued over.

Was it a man in a suit… or the best Bigfoot evidence ever captured?

  • Twin Telepathy: Coincidence, Connection… or Supernatural?
    22 Sep 2026

    Send us Fan Mail

Can twins really share thoughts, sensations, emotions—or even something we don’t yet understand?

In this episode of Inquirium, Michael Walker and Steven Dudley explore some of the most compelling stories surrounding twins and extraordinary human connection. From twins who claim to feel each other’s pain in real time, to the famous Jim Twins, separated for 39 years yet found to have lived remarkably similar lives, we look at where genetics, coincidence, psychology—and the unexplained—might intersect.

We also examine the strange case of the Pollock twins, whose story has fueled decades of debate about memory, birthmarks, and possible reincarnation.

Along the way, we look at what twin research has actually revealed about nature versus nurture, where the scientific evidence ends, and why some cases continue to challenge easy explanations.

Are these stories simply remarkable coincidences—or could some connections run deeper than we currently understand?

    Question the Unknown.

    What does Bigfoot actually do?

In this bonus episode, Michael and Steven join Anthony Diaz of 50 States of Terror for a wide-ranging conversation about reported Sasquatch behavior, including vocalizations, tree structures, broken limbs, possible language, unusual encounters, intelligence, and some of the stranger patterns researchers and witnesses have reported over the years.

We also dig into the famous Sierra Sounds, alleged communication between Sasquatch, and whether some reported behaviors could point to an intelligence beyond what we normally associate with known primates.

Thanks to Anthony and 50 States of Terror for having us on!
