This is the first video in a new series called "What We Don't Talk About." These are issues or challenges that may be touched on in school, but are not always fully addressed, or become a bigger issue once students graduate and are practicing social work. For part 1 of this series, your co-hosts, Dr. Hilary Cobb and Dr. Kelli Star Fox, look at Countertransference and Transference, two issues that frequently arise for helping professionals that we aren't always comfortable discussing. Are there topics that you think should be discussed more frequently? Leave us a comment and let us know!
And yes, Dr. Hilary Cobb was wrong. It's tabula rasa and it's Latin, not French! :)
