Keanu Reeves Biography Flash a weekly Biography. Keanu Reeves has one significant verified development to report in the past few days, and it could become an important chapter in his post John Wick career. Deadline and The Hollywood Reporter report that Reeves is in talks to star opposite Don Lee in Paramount Pictures’ remake of the 2019 South Korean action thriller The Gangster, The Cop, The Devil. James Wan is attached to direct, with production involving Blumhouse Atomic Monster, Balboa Productions, and other major partners. The original film follows a police officer and a crime boss who reluctantly join forces to hunt a serial killer. Don Lee, also known as Ma Dong seok, is expected to reprise his role as the gangster. Reeves’ character has not been revealed, and Paramount has not announced a production schedule or release date. Most importantly, this is still a negotiation, not a finalized casting announcement. Any reports describing Reeves as officially attached or confirming his role should therefore be treated as premature. If completed, the project would reunite Reeves with another high profile action filmmaker and extend his reputation as one of modern cinema’s most durable genre stars. It also places him in an international remake built around a Korean original, potentially adding a new cross cultural dimension to his filmography. The long term significance is promising, but remains speculative until the studio confirms the deal. No reliable reports located in the available coverage document a major public appearance, new business transaction, or verified social media statement by Reeves during the past few days. There are also no confirmed headlines from the past 24 hours that materially change this story. His broader professional slate reportedly includes the Apple TV comedy drama Outcome, a voice return as Shadow in Sonic the Hedgehog 4, scheduled for March 19, 2027, and other upcoming films, but those projects were not newly announced in this short news window.
