Trump's Department of Justice officials have been violating court order after court order. Yet thus far, there have been no contempt of court sanctions for any of their willful defiance of court orders.
Notably, there is one case in the system that continues to move in the direction of contempt: the case involving the unconstitutional deportation of Venezuelan immigrants to El Salvador, a case being presided over by the Chief Judge of the DC district court James Boasberg.
Glenn discusses why federal judges may be reluctant to hold Trump administration officials in contempt of court.
