I love this so much. Because this shows wherever I am and was. No matter what I was going through God was and is there. Even in my wrong choices and circumstances he was there.
The most important thing is since it is human nature to love ourselves and our appearance; the most powerful yes blessing out of all of this is we don’t look like what we been through.
“Remembering mine affliction and my misery, The wormwood and the gall. My soul hath them still in remembrance, And is humbled in me. This I recall to my mind, Therefore have I hope. It is of the LORD's mercies that we are not consumed, Because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: Great is thy faithfulness. The LORD is my portion, saith my soul; Therefore will I hope in him.”
Lamentations 3:19-24 KJV

“that if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?”
Romans 10:9-14
