Holy Trinity Music. Visual Artistry. Basketball. These aren't just passions — they're the three things that built me. And chances are, you've got your own trinity too. Holy Trinity is a podcast about finding yourself in other people's stories. Each episode digs into the intersection of culture, creativity, and identity — through conversations with guests who've let their art, their grind, and their game shape who they are. Whether you're deep in your purpose or still searching for it, this show is for the ones in transition. The ones becoming. The ones who know there's something more, they just haven't found the words for it yet. New episodes on iHeartRadio, Apple Podcasts, and Spotify. • Holy Trinity: Phil & Pia — The Piece We Made Together
    Sep 9 2026
Phil Quinal is a painter and art director. Pia Lindsay is a fashion designer and the founder of Pia Lindsay Studio. They met in art school, got married after fifteen years together, and still share one workspace — his paint, her sewing machine, one home. In this episode they get into what actually holds a fifteen-year creative partnership together: the difference between fighting for each other and fighting each other, how they split "comfort" and "tough love" without either of them ever having to ask, and the story behind the piece sitting in frame with them — a dress made from Phil's painting on nearly five yards of satin, worn on a runway in Moscow, that started as a dream Pia had years before they even started dating. From there they break down their pillars — Phil's Family, Craft, and Travel & Culture; Pia's Craft, Wellness, and Nurturing — and the corporate burnout that became the moment Pia started putting herself first. Phil talks about rebuilding community from scratch in a new city, the intuition-driven abstract paintings he's developed over fifteen years, and what all that time in the same craft has taught them both: that perfection is procrastination, and that people aren't just buying your art — they're buying a piece of you. They close on the two questions that hit hardest: what each of them believed about themselves that turned out to be wrong, and who they're becoming. In this episode

  • Vince Staples' "Cry Baby" — One Month Later, Does It Hold Up?
    Jul 6 2026
Everybody reviewed Cry Baby the week it dropped. We waited. One month after Vince Staples released his boldest album yet — a rock-leaning pivot with live instrumentation, his first project on Loma Vista after leaving his major-label deal — the hot takes have cooled. So what's actually left? Which tracks earned a permanent spot, which ones faded, and does the risk still feel like growth or just a detour? The Needle Drop In this episode:
    • The tracks that grew on us (and the ones that didn't survive the month)
    • What the rock pivot says about artists refusing to stay in their lane
    • Where Cry Baby lands in Vince's catalog — final verdict

  • The Holy Trinity of Self-Love — Maliq (Part 2): Rhythm Over Balance & Owning Your Story
    Jun 20 2026
Maliq is back for Part 2 — and this one goes all the way in. We break down his three pillars — faith, fitness, and food — and how they add up to one thing: self-love.

From food as the first act of loving yourself, to why "balance was sold to us" and living by rhythm instead, to respect as the highest form of love — this is a conversation about building yourself from the inside out. We get into discipline and fear, weaponized incompetence, finding your own voice, refusing to live anyone else's life, and what it really means to become the hero of your own story. A retired people pleaser's guide to owning your story.
