Most of us are carrying a money story we never chose — a comment from a teacher, a moment we felt "not enough" — and it's still quietly running the show.

Have you ever wondered why you can advocate fiercely for everyone else but hesitate to speak up for yourself? Have you ever caught yourself apologizing before you've even finished a sentence? Have you ever avoided opening a statement — financial or otherwise — because some part of you decided long ago this "isn't your thing"?

In this episode, Susan and Sara sit down with Nadia Murdock, mindset and movement coach, peak performance mentor, and confidence catalyst, to talk about the muscle behind real confidence: self-advocacy, and how it shows up — or quietly disappears — in the way women manage their careers, relationships, and money.

In this episode, we cover:

• The imposter syndrome trap — Why Nadia felt she needed endless certifications to be "allowed" to help people, even though she already had everything she needed.
• A pregnancy, a lockdown, and a wake-up call — How one doctor's careless words forced Nadia to trust her own instincts over a "superior" authority.
• Why women struggle to speak up — Nadia breaks down how upbringing and the rooms we spend time in shape whether we feel entitled to a voice.
• Black-and-white thinking — The all-or-nothing trap that keeps women from opening a 401(k) statement or asking for what they're worth.
• The 4th grade money story — Nadia gets vulnerable about the offhand comment that shaped her relationship with money for years.
• Ultimate Vitality, explained — What it means to know your own body's blueprint instead of chasing someone else's definition of "well."

You don't need a dramatic wake-up call to start advocating for yourself — you just need to start.

You promise yourself today will be different — and by 3:30 you're eating candy behind a locked classroom door. If that sounds familiar, you're not lacking willpower. There's a real reason your brain won't stop asking for food, especially during the hardest, most transitional seasons of life.

Have you ever wondered…

• Why you can't stop thinking about food, even right after you've eaten?
• Why cravings get so much louder during stress or major life transitions?
• Whether "food noise" is just you, or something almost every woman quietly deals with?

In this episode, Susan and Sara sit down with Laura Banks, Integrative Nutrition Health Coach and founder of Laura B Healthy LLC, for an honest conversation about the emotional and physiological roots of cravings — and why healing your relationship with food isn't so different from healing your relationship with money. Laura shares her own journey through binge eating and the simple, sustainable framework she now teaches her clients.

In this episode, we cover:

• What "food noise" really is — the constant background chatter about food that has nothing to do with actual hunger.
• The physiology behind stress eating — why your vagus nerve, not your willpower, is driving the craving.
• Why all-or-nothing thinking backfires — and how one "bad" choice (with food or money) doesn't erase all the good ones.
• Laura's own story with binge eating — and the moment that finally changed everything.
• The two-bucket craving framework — a simple way to tell if a craving is emotional or physical, and what to do about each.
• Where to actually start — small, sustainable shifts instead of a total lifestyle overhaul.

You don't need more willpower — you need to understand what your body and brain are actually asking for. Healing starts one honest, unhurried step at a time.

Negotiating for yourself can feel a thousand times harder than negotiating for someone else — and there's real psychology (and real money) behind why.

Have you ever wondered:

- Why you can advocate fiercely for a friend but freeze up asking for your own raise?

- Whether staying quiet in a salary negotiation is actually costing you more than you think?

- If "confidence" is something you need before you negotiate, or something you build by doing it anyway?

In this episode, Susan and Sara sit down with Katie Naughton — entrepreneur, investor, and founder of Drive Her Forward (https://www.driveherforward.com/) who built her career in one of the most male-dominated industries in America: automotive retail. As one of the rare 1% of women to own and operate a dealership, Katie has negotiated everything from multi-million dollar acquisitions to her own salary, and she's candid about the one time she didn't ask for what she was worth — and what it taught her.

In this episode, we cover:

- Breaking into a male-dominated industry: Katie's path from wanting to be a sideline sports broadcaster to becoming one of the few female dealership owners in the country.

- The moment she realized she could lead, not just sell: How working inside other dealerships sparked the confidence to buy her own.

- Why women underprice themselves: Katie unpacks the conditioning that leads women to prioritize being "agreeable" over asking for what they're worth.

- The power of the pause: A simple negotiation tactic — staying silent after stating your number — that can shift control of the entire conversation.

- Confidence is built by doing, not waiting: Why "diving in" before you feel ready is often the fastest way to actually feel ready.

- The "Win of the Week" habit: A simple weekly practice that gives you 52 concrete reasons to ask for that raise or promotion at year-end.

- You don't need to feel 100% ready to negotiate — you just need a number, a plan, and the willingness to sit in the silence.
