It's November, and the month we celebrate Veterans Day on November 11. In this we Podcast we talk to a few of our friends, fellow Baymen Men's Club Members, and veterans. Joining us are Tony Guerriero, Greg LaSala, and Chip Scheckler who all served in the Vietnam War.

Listen as they tell their stories from the time they were drafted or enlisted, through Boot Camp, their eventual deployment to their destinations, to what it was like for them after they returned home.

Listen to them tell about the Pet Python, the Hofbrauhaus Brawl, the attempt to rescue The Pueblo, Motorcycle Auditions, and more.

      Thank you for listening.

Today we take on a topic that many of us around our community have been talking about for a long time and that is "Why don't more people volunteer to join the various committees we have within our community?" We are not alone as this is common among the many active 55 and over communities in our area and around the country. What are your thoughts?

Joe Varamo brings us his new cooking segment called "Let's Eat" with one of his favorite recipes he want to share with you.

Joe B. has another "Did You Know?" tip.

Pam Camiscioni, a local relator from The Van Dyk Group, one of our new Podcast Sponsors, talks with Joe B, about how to prepare to sell your home. From staging it to setting a price.

Ron D. tells us what is happening around our neighborhood in the coming months.

And Richie the Jokeman is back to bring us a few laughs.

      Oct 10 2025

Click to send us your feedback on our Podcast. Thanks.

Phil talks with Rob Sofie, a friend and a fellow Baymen Men's Club Member, who is an active volunteer at the local Tuckerton Food Pantry. Rob discusses the overall objective of the food pantry, some of those who are recipients of the food pantry's services, who donates to the food pantry, his role when he volunteers his time each week, and their ongoing need for contributions and volunteers each week allowing them to continue to provide these much-needed services.

If you ever wondered these same questions and have an interest in getting involved with this food pantry, please listen in. It will answer your questions and hopefully inspire you to also get involved.

      Enjoy.
