Grab your Bible and your Bible Study Bestie because we’re heading into Genesis 3—the chapter where everything goes sideways.
In this episode, we’re slowing down to study the Fall of Man, Adam and Eve, the serpent, temptation, sin, shame, and the consequences of disobedience. But we’re not just checking off what happened in the garden. We’re learning how to study Genesis for ourselves and notice the patterns, questions, and theological meditations hiding in the text.
Today we will look at how we see God’s mercy and promise of redemption even in the middle of the wreckage of sin.
Genesis 3 is more than the story of how sin entered the world. It introduces themes that echo throughout the entire story of the Bible—temptation, sin, shame, death, broken relationships, judgment, redemption, and the hope of a coming Savior.
So grab your Bible, your colored pencils, and your curiosity. We’re going mining in Genesis 3 to uncover the treasures that help us understand not only this chapter, but the whole biblical story.
