It all started with Galice Ryan just wanting to learn how to feed himself. Once he moved out of the house, he started to realize just how special his mom's French style cooking was an just how much he had to learn.
So Galice went on a mission to learn how to cook, using restaurants as his university, he went from washing dishes, to working at some of the best restaurants in New York and New Jersey, before doing the same in Sacramento, and ultimately running his own kitchen as the head chef at the Historic Star Lounge on L Street.
Galice isn't just a guy who fell into cooking, he is a guy who fell in love with cooking and continues to put that heart and that skill into his food today.
