Drawing from key scriptures including John 6:15–21, Matthew 14:22–23, and Mark 6:44–52, this study reveals profound truths about divine leadership, expectation, and the miraculous. Key Highlights: - Why Jesus constrained His disciples: He instructed them to go ahead—to the other side—before Him. This act wasn't just logistical; it was spiritual. It was a call to lead forward, to step into responsibility, and to trust in the unseen. - Two modes of divine leadership: - God before us: leading directly. - God behind us: urging us to move forward in faith. The second is often less comfortable, yet it mirrors Christ’s own journey and invites us to embody His love in action. - Capacity and Calling: Jesus never sends us where we’re not equipped to go. If He asks us to lead, it’s because He’s already placed the ability within us. - The Power of Asking: Miracles are often preceded by questions—not of doubt, but of possibility. Like Mary (mother of Jesus), not Zachariah (father of John the Baptist), we must ask with faith. Expectation is the soil where miracles grow. - Pleasant Surprises from Heaven: Miracles are not random acts—they’re intentional gifts meant to stir joy and strengthen belief. But without expectation, even divine blessings can feel unfamiliar. - Fellowship with the Holy Spirit: Staying close to the Spirit gives us clues about what God is preparing. It’s a relationship that keeps us spiritually alert and ready. - The Forerunner Principle: Just as John the Baptist went ahead of Jesus, we as believers are called to go ahead of Christ in preparing the world for His return. This positioning is not passive—it’s miraculous in nature. (Mark 16:17) Other Supporting Scriptures: Isaiah 1:18, Deuteronomy 13:19, 1 John 5:3, Psalm 23, John 10:11–14, Hebrews 13:20, Luke 1:16–17, 2 Corinthians 5:18, Matthew 11:11, Luke 7:28. Beloved, until you step into the place God is leading you, Jesus cannot meet you there with the miraculous. Movement precedes Manifestation.
