    1. Is baptism referring to literal baptism or is it a symbol of what happens when we begin to identify with Jesus?
    2. Has the church, in general, used the examples Paul used in Romans, such as slavery and adultery in marriage, to inappropriately dictate "Godly behaviour" ?
    3. "Identify with Christ" - how do we do this without being associates with those who manipulate Jesus' teachings for political gain and hold extreme views?

    1. Romans 5:11-21 shows how much Christ's sacrifice means than Adam's disobedience. But, isn't this also a foundational passage for teaching original sin?
    2. Can you expand on the concept of original sin? There appear to be somewhat different Catholic, Orthodox, Reformed and mainstream Baptist interpretations.
    3. You briefly mentioned universalism. Can you say more about that?

    1. You described Paul’s descriptions of salvation as being like an elephant - but isn’t there a distinct progression from justification to sanctification to glory?
    2. Is the development of character that leads to hope a potential pathway of discipleship?
    3. In the Life Group resources (and recent sermons) you have focused on the need for unity. Why is this front of mind at the moment, where do you see us disunited?
