He was flying alone at night over a dark, endless sea. A small plane was all he had. Then... something appears above him. It wasn't a plane. It hovered in the sky above him... watching. Then he was gone.
On October 21, 1978, a young pilot faced a nightmare over Bass Strait, Australia. His desperate radio calls still chill listeners today and baffles researchers attempting to find any sign of him or his plane.
Join Gary and GoldieAnn as they fly Within the Mists of Australia and into one of aviation's strangest disappearances. Hear the events that lead up to his possible contact with a UFO, all recorded by the air traffic control as they try to explain the Frederick Valentich Disappearance.
