  • Ep. 7 - 24 Teams Is Too Many: CFP Rankings & Cowboy
    6 Nov 2026

Seven weeks in, the parlay finally hit, and the new CFP rankings have us arguing whether a 24-team playoff ruins the regular season.

Mason’s USC leg carried the first winning ticket, so he’s stuck taking shots from his side bet with Brady. The CFP talk covers the theory that ESPN money explains the SEC love, Boise State bumping Ohio State out of the projected field, and whether Miami’s run as an 11 seed proves Cinderellas exist. In the NFL, Tampa beats Atlanta 16-0 without completing a pass, and Mason blames the Joneses’ micromanaging for the Cowboys (Brady calls it “the coldest of hot takes”). Then come the games: NFL Wordle, a vowel-heavy Guess That Player, and Matt’s trade game, where Brady has to defend himself against tanking accusations.

  • Ep. 6 — Paying Our Dues: Shots, JJ McCarthy & Trade Court
    27 Oct 2026

We went 0-for-4 on last week’s parlay, so we recorded this one taking shots during Monday Night Football, and our host’s PC crashed halfway through.

Upsets everywhere in college football: No. 2 BYU falls to UCF in overtime, Texas Tech loses at Cincinnati, and Kentucky is somehow on top of the SEC. We get into the Pat McAfee kick contest blowup, argue about how far each of us could actually kick a field goal, and Matt drops the hot take that JJ McCarthy is the Giants’ Week 1 starter next year over Jaxson Dart. Plus: does Matthew Stafford have two Hall of Fame careers, and Matt’s FAABulous Forecast puts six real Sleeper trades on trial, including one sent in our own league.

  • Ep. 5 — Houston Over Texas? Heisman Race, Jalen Hurts & NFL Wordle
    27 Oct 2026

Brady says he’d take Houston over Texas right now, and Mason is saving the audio.

Five of the top seven teams lost, and Matt puts Texas on fraud alert after back-to-back losses. Brady says Arch Manning is a second-round pick at best if he declares, and he’d take Julian Sayin “all day long.” We also argue about whether the Heisman should go to Jeremiah Smith because it’s his turn, or to the freshman who’s out-producing him. On the NFL side, Brady says the Eagles’ medical staff should be investigated after Jalen Hurts flew to London with a blood clot. Then JJ McCarthy’s breakout starts a dynasty-league fight, and Brady goes 0 for 2 on Who Am I.

    • 00:00 Last week’s parlay: 5 for 16 on legs, and the shots
