We’re giving Ami the spotlight in this episode as we revisit Sailor Moon R Episode 25, “For Friendship: Ami vs. Berthier,” and yeah, we loved this one. Ami and Berthier facing off is such a fun matchup, especially when their water powers go head-to-head and their rivalry carries all the way into a high-stakes game of chess. But what really makes this Sailor Moon R rewatch hit is the heart underneath it all, with Ami refusing to abandon her friends and Koan returning when Berthier needs her most. We may be getting another Sailor Guardian paired against a Spectre Sister, but when it gives us this much Ami goodness, we’re absolutely here for it.

Each week Matt and Maggie produce a variety of shows on YouTube and podcast services with a positive nerdy spin. We like to keep things fun and light by simply geeking out over the things we love. If you’re looking for drama and toxicity, we’re not the droids you’re looking for.
