Food For The Soul is your private pocket-sized pep talk for the moments when life, leadership, business and ambition feel like a lot. Hosted by Ally Nitschke, award winning entrepreneur, keynote speaker and author. This podcast is designed for high-performing women who are leading, building, carrying, creating, growing and quietly wondering when they get to exhale. These are short, powerful episodes to help you come back to yourself, find your fire again and remember who you are underneath the pressure, the people-pleasing, the proving and the constant pull to be everything for everyone. Food For The Soul is not another podcast telling you to do more, be more, push harder or optimise every part of your life. It is the voice in your ear before the meeting, the reset after the hard conversation, the reminder before you undercharge, the permission slip when you are exhausted, and the steadying hand on your shoulder when you are about to shrink, silence yourself or forget your own power. Each episode is a short, soulful and practical pep talk designed to meet you in real-life moments: when your confidence takes a hit, when you are tired of being the strong one, when you need to hold a boundary, when you are comparing yourself to everyone else, when you are ready to stop over-explaining, when you want to be seen, when you need to ask for the money, when you are stepping into a bigger room, and when you are becoming the next version of yourself. This show is for executive women, entrepreneur women, founders, leaders, speakers, consultants, mothers, creatives and ambitious women who are done performing 'fine' and ready to return to themselves. You will find episodes on courage, confidence, self-trust, boundaries, money, worth, visibility, leadership, emotional resilience, nervous system regulation, courageous conversations and coming back to your fire. Think of it as food for the woman behind the title, the business, the role, the responsibilities and the expectations. Because you are not too much. You are not behind. You are not here to shrink. You are not required to hold everything together at the expense of yourself. You are allowed to lead, receive, rise, rest, want more, take up space and come home to the woman you are becoming. Food For The Soul is here to help you return to you, one powerful pep talk at a time.Copyright 2026 Ally Nitschke Career Success Economics Leadership Management & Leadership

  • Ally Nitschke's Pep Talk on Stop Waiting to Be Chosen
    18 Oct 2026

There's a particular kind of waiting that high performing women get very good at: waiting to be noticed, invited, validated, or handed a certificate that says you're finally ready.

In this episode of Food for the Soul, Ally Nitschke CSP has a message for the woman who's waiting for the right room, the right moment, the right title, the right level of confidence, or a sign from the universe wrapped in a glittery box: stop waiting to be chosen, and choose yourself. Not because you're arrogant or have nothing left to learn, but because you've spent enough time waiting for external permission to become the woman you already know you're here to be.

Ally talks about what happens when brilliant, capable, overqualified women are conditioned to be excellent but not always conditioned to be self-authorising. She reframes humility, which doesn't mean shrinking your brilliance or waiting quietly in the corner hoping someone notices, and reminds you that you're allowed to want more, to be ambitious, and to be ready to expand. Wanting more doesn't make you ungrateful, it makes you alive.

You'll hear the questions Ally wants you asking instead of "will they choose me?": am I choosing my voice, my standards, my visibility, the room I want to be in? You'll also hear why waiting is expensive, costing energy, momentum, confidence and opportunities, and her invitation to choose one place today where you can stop waiting and start moving: the one email, the one ask, the one post, the one conversation, the one decision.

Ready is often only revealed through movement. The woman you're becoming doesn't need to be picked. She's already chosen herself first.

  • Ally Nitschke's Pep Talk on Becoming Her Before You Feel Ready
    11 Oct 2026

A lot of women are waiting. Waiting for more confidence, more clarity, the right timing, more evidence, a sign. Waiting until they feel like the woman who can hold the thing they want.

In this episode of Food for the Soul, Ally Nitschke CSP talks about becoming her before you feel ready, a conversation that keeps coming up with her girlfriends, her clients and the people she chats with in passing. She explains why the feeling rarely arrives first, and why sometimes the way you become her is by practising her before you feel like her.

Ally unpacks why becoming is behavioural before it is emotional. You don't become a woman with boundaries by waiting until boundaries feel natural, you become her by saying no while your body still feels uncomfortable. You don't become visible by waiting until it feels completely safe, you become her by allowing 5% more visibility and letting your nervous system learn that you survived. And for high performing women who are used to mastering something before they show up for it, she makes the case that the next identity is often built in motion.

You'll hear Ally's questions for getting specific about the woman you're becoming: is she paid well, does she speak clearly, does she protect her energy, does she lead with presence? Then how would she behave today, not forever and not in six months, what would she say yes to, say no to, stop over explaining, or ask for? Her invitation is to choose one action that belongs to her, today.

It might feel unfamiliar, and that's okay. One day, what feels brave now will feel normal, and that is how identity is built.

  • Ally Nitschke's Pep Talk on Comeback Energy
    4 Oct 2026

Fresh start energy gets all the glory: the new diary, the clean notebooks, and a plan that will definitely, this time, be beautifully organised. But there's another kind of energy that's even more powerful, and it doesn't wait for January.

In this episode of Food for the Soul, Ally Nitschke CSP talks about comeback energy, the grittier cousin of fresh start energy. It's the energy that rises after the wobble, after the disappointment, after the messy season, or the moment you get sick of your own patterns and decide you're not staying there.

She explains why a comeback doesn't have to be dramatic. No movie montage, no total reinvention. Most real comebacks start with one small decision: opening the document you've been avoiding, making the call, booking the appointment, telling the truth. And if you feel like you've lost a bit of yourself along the way, Ally's reminder is that you're not broken, you might just be buried, under responsibility, expectation and a version of success that looked good from the outside but felt heavier on the inside.

You'll hear the difference between shaming yourself back to life and welcoming yourself home, why motivation might be the reward for re-entering your own life rather than the place you have to start, and Ally's simple practice: choose the one area where you most need a comeback, then take one small, honest action that signals you're on your way back. Please don't make it heroic.

You don't have to come back as the old version of you. Your fire may be buried for a while, but it's still yours, and it's not out yet.
