À propos de ce contenu audio

Faith Is a Journey is a Christian podcast for people who believe the Bible but struggle to live it when life gets messy.

We’re a husband and wife. Not pastors. Not polished teachers. Just two believers opening Scripture each week and asking what it actually demands of us.

We talk about stress, doubt, discipline, fear, unanswered prayers, and the gap between what we say we believe and how we actually live.

This isn’t church talk or motivational fluff. It’s honest conversation about following Jesus when obedience costs something and clarity is hard to find.

Each episode wrestles with one passage or idea and asks the question most people avoid:

What does this require of us right now?

Disclaimer: The conversations shared on Faith Is a Journey reflect our personal experiences and understanding of Scripture. They are not intended as formal theological teaching or professional counseling.

  • Dead Faith or Living Faith? | The Book of James
    Feb 26 2026

Are we just hearing the Word… or actually living it?

In this episode of Faith Is A Journey, we dive into one of the most uncomfortable books in the Bible: James.

James says faith without works is dead. So what does that actually mean? Are we saved by faith alone? What does obedience look like in real life? And what happens when following God costs us something?

    We talk honestly about:

    • The difference between believing and surrendering

    • Why church on Sunday isn’t enough

    • Costly obedience and hidden pride

    • Abraham, Rahab, and real-life risk

    • Where we might be delaying obedience

This isn’t polished theology. It’s a husband and wife wrestling through what it means to live out authentic, visible faith.

If your faith feels comfortable, this episode might challenge you.

  • Waiting on God… or Just Stuck?
    Feb 24 2026

Ever feel like you’re waiting on God… but nothing’s happening?

You’ve got the job. The family. The responsibilities. You’re doing what you’re “supposed” to do. But somewhere in the middle of all that, you start asking:

Is this really the life God designed for me? Or am I just following the script everyone else follows?

In this episode, we talk honestly about feeling stuck, over-planning, chasing certainty, and wondering if we’re missing something bigger. We wrestle with what it actually means to follow Jesus in real life, not just in theory.

    We dig into:

    • The tension between waiting and fear

    • Why obedience feels risky

    • Letting go of the need for a blueprint

    • The difference between knowing Scripture and being changed by it

    • What it looks like to live your faith outside of Sunday

This isn’t a step-by-step formula. It’s a real conversation about trust, control, and learning to walk by faith when the path isn’t clear.

If you’ve ever felt stuck between comfort and calling, this one’s for you.

  • When Guilt Replaces Faith
    Feb 5 2026

What happens when doing the “right thing” doesn’t bring peace?

In this episode, we talk honestly about the guilt that can creep in after holding onto meaningful possessions. What started as helping family turned into sleepless nights, second-guessing motives, and asking whether we were honoring God or quietly letting guilt take over.

We wrestle with Jesus’ words about earthly treasures and heavenly ones, not from a place of rules or minimalism, but from lived experience. Is the real issue the things we own, or what guilt and attachment do to our hearts?
