Faith On Dirt Roads explores Heather's journey through life thus far. It blends personal narrative and inspiring testimonies from those who’ve walked alongside her. As she interviews influential people in her life, she explores her faith journey, the rocky roads she has traveled, founding His Heart For Africa (www.hisheartforafrica.org), moving to Jinja, Uganda, and the challenges she has faced on the mission field. Her prayer is that others find hope when community and relationships are messy and complicated, no matter where you live or what you navigate!Heather Teague Spiritualité

Hello and welcome to Faith on Dirt Roads. On today’s episode, this is part 2 of a conversation I got ot have with my friend Mary Bea. We discuss life in Uganda, what she thought of me in my young adult days, and how she has seen me grow. We talk about a few experiences my students have had, and also our Elderly Care Program.

I hope you enjoy hearing about our journey together as friends.

    • Faith & Unity: How We Move Forward After Tragedy
      Sep 19 2025

Hello and welcome to Faith on Dirt Roads. Today’s episode isone I never imagined recording. The assassination of Charlie Kirk has shaken our nation. No matter your politics, no matter your perspective, this tragedy is heavy. It exposes just how divided, how angry, how fragile our country has become.

Some of you are grieving. Some of you are outraged. Others of you feel numb, unsure how to even process it. Wherever you are—thank you for listening.

Today, we’re going to slow down, breathe, and let Scripture, along with the wisdom of voices like Pastor Josh and Charles Spurgeon, guide us. Because here’s the truth: this moment is about more than politics. It’s about who we are as people. It’s about how we love one another when the world seems to be torn apart.

We may not understand all that has happened. But we know this: Christ is risen. He is Lord. And He will build His church, even in dark days like these. So take heart. Live in hope. Walk in unity. And may the peace of Christ guard your hearts and minds.

Thanks for listening. If this episode resonated with you, please share it with a friend who could use some encouragement. And remember: we are not defined by our divisions—we are defined by the One who unites us.

Hello and welcome to Faith on Dirt Roads. On today’s episode, I’m excited to sit down and talk to our guest, MaryBea. We met when I was 18 years old and at another church in Spring Hill at the time.

I hope you enjoy hearing about our journey together asfriends, some of the laughs we have shared, and a few missions we have done together within the states. We bounce around a lot in our talk, and this is only part 1 of our talk that I can't wait for you to hear. She is a lover of sports like me, and hey, I love her even though she likes LSU and the Saints...
