Summary
This week, we conclude our Everyday Mission series by examining the final step in living missionally: proclamation.
Over the past two weeks, we've seen that prayer aligns our hearts with God's heart and pursuing people aligns our lives with God's mission. But eventually, love has to speak.
In Romans 10, Paul reminds us that faith is both inward and outward. We believe with our hearts and confess with our mouths. Our lives should reflect Christ, but our words explain the hope behind our lives.
In this sermon, we explore:
- Why the Christian witness requires both our lives and our lips.
- What the gospel actually is.
- Why we don't have to fear sharing our faith.
- How the Holy Spirit equips ordinary people to proclaim extraordinary news.
- What success in evangelism really looks like.
Success in evangelism is obedience to the Holy Spirit and leaving the results up to Him.
Scripture:
- Romans 10:9–17
- Matthew 28:18–20
- 1 Peter 3:15
- Revelation 12:11
Preached on July 5, 2026, at The Table Church in St. Augustine, Florida.
