Summary

Brett Pack is a writer, actor and producer from Nashville, Tennessee. As a child, Brett grew up near Nashville on a street named Ocala. It was here on Ocala street that Brett fell into the hands of a sexual predator and abuser. With this horrific abuse tormenting him on the inside, Brett spent years traveling the world and his journey led him to New York City where he spent 6 years in the entertainment industry acting in various roles and writing for acclaimed shows like 30 Rock and Saturday Night Live. Brett's career progressed, but what many could not see, was the childhood trauma from his past that both haunted and tormented him. After a complete breakdown and losing nearly everything, Brett moved back to Tennessee to rebuild his life, and find healing, hope, and his voice again. Now, alongside his wife Jeanine, Brett lives with clear purpose creating projects that will uplift, inspire, and encourage audiences. Brett wrote the screenplay and is producing a film called Ocala, inspired by his own story of childhood sexual abuse and the trauma that caused him to nearly lose his life before he finally found his hope and healing in Jesus. Ocala is scheduled to start production in late Spring of 2027. This episode takes inside Brett’s personal survivor story and the long road to freedom.
