Prague. Perpetual rain. Ancient stone.
When museum specialist Eleanor Voss (Rebecca Ferguson) is tasked with cataloguing a newly acquired medieval gargoyle sculpture, she thinks it's just another job. But as the celestial clock ticks toward a rare astronomical alignment, one that occurs only every 500 years, the stone begins to breathe.
Inside the crate, Aldric (Viggo Mortensen), a gargoyle cursed to watch the centuries pass, slowly wakes. And he remembers her. He always remembers her.
But across the city, down at the rain-soaked docks, another crate never made it to the museum. Malachar (John Lithgow), ancient, calculating, and consumed by centuries of bitterness. With his own dark agenda for the night the planets align, he begins to move through the shadows of Prague's gothic streets toward the woman at the centre of it all.
As spires loom overhead and cobblestones slick with rain reflect the dying light, Eleanor must choose between the world she knows and a love that has outlasted empires. Some tales don't end. They simply wait.
