J.D. has finally made it through medical school, only to discover that becoming a doctor means getting yelled at by Dr. Cox, bullied by Dr. Kelso, flirting with Elliot, hiding from patients, and letting nurses do basically anything that requires actual medical competence. Add Turk, a questionable amount of hospital sex, a possibly imaginary Janitor, and one very dead patient, and J.D.’s first three days at Sacred Heart are less “medical career” and more “HR nightmare.”
We’re tearing apart the Scrubs pilot, “My First Day,” to see if this chaotic medical sitcom still deserves a bed in the hospital. We’ll debate whether Dr. Kelso is actually Satan, why this show might belong on Spike TV, and whether we’d rather spend a flight with Turk or Dr. Kelso. Then J.D. walks into a glass door, because apparently surviving medical school wasn't enough humiliation.
Would we fly again?
