On today’s show, we looked at how to keep warm as a cold snap arrived. Elizabeth chatted with Dublin woman Dervla Arthurs about her company Snugabugz, which had just launched its products in Arnotts.

With cough and cold season underway, we shared an important reminder that while many people were feeling under the weather, most common illnesses wouldn't require antibiotics.

We also brought you the latest on the controversy surrounding Blanchardstown shopping centre, where over 8,000 people had signed a petition against plans to introduce paid parking. Q102’s Louise Phelan D’Cruz was out there earlier in the day to find out what locals thought of the proposal.

And first, we discussed the major political news of Paschal Donohoe’s move to the World Bank. John Lee from the Irish Daily Mail joined Elizabeth to discuss what the move meant for the Cabinet and the Dublin Central constituency.

We were joined by Susan Banks, the talented woman behind Not Just Hats, who chatted about the astonishing popularity of her unique creations.

We also heard from our very own Kathryn Thomas, who filled us in on her brand new and very exciting podcast, Are We There Yet?.

Plus, we were joined by local representatives to discuss the heart-breaking news from Kilmore, where residents were left devastated after a newly installed playground was destroyed in a fire last night.

And finally, following Troy Parrott’s stunning hattrick against Hungary yesterday, we debated the future of Irish football. David Seagrave, chatted to us about the renewed belief in the country and our chances of making it to the World Cup.
