Munich-born Mark Wehlke has been shaping techno since 1992. First known as DJ Manga, he became a key figure in Germany’s rave era, playing festivals like Love Parade (Berlin), Street Parade (Zurich), Rave on Snow (Austria), Thai Break (Thailand), and Space (Ibiza).

His releases on Kosmo Music, BMG, Netrecord-Z and remixes for the late German super star Tomcraft, Cosmic Gate’s Bossi, well respected Milk & Sugar, and Sunbeam earned him respect across Europe’s clubs — from Space Ibiza to Rote Sonne & Harry Klein Munich.
Today, as a founding member of Munich Techno and resident at Bavarian Fetish, Mark continues to deliver techno in all its spectrums — deep, powerful, and uncompromising.

We also reflect on his time at Atelier Lemarié in Paris, where he contributed to Alexander McQueen’s final collection, and his collaborations with iconic figures and brands like Lady Gaga, Madonna, Christina Aguilera, Dita von Teese, Swarovski, and Rolls Royce. More than anything, this conversation focuses on creative process, vision, and building a life and community rooted in authenticity.
