"Surrender!" "Go with the flow!" That all sounds great in theory, but HOW?!

In this episode, I'm sitting down with my good friend Emily Gunlock, co-founder of Gunlock Homes with her husband, Brad. I met Emily when we first moved to Denver and were looking for a builder for our home. I knew instantly that Emily and Brad were the ones. Since then, we've evolved together and become great friends.

Emily had a happy life, a loving family, and a thriving business. She wasn't searching for anything or trying to fix anything. And yet, something found its way to her anyway.

She went from always being "on," stressing and working hard to make sure the business wouldn't fall apart without her grinding, to surrendering. Less control. Less grip. Less stress. Less work. And her business kept thriving, even after she took her foot off the gas. That surrender led her somewhere she never expected: hosting retreats and guiding others through their own transformation.

I went dark for about 4-months after re-branding and re-launching this podcast, but I'm back. Where did I go, you ask?! Into the descent. The unfcomfortable place most people try and avoid (I can see why), but it's the only place to go through in order to expand on the other side.
