Creepshow 2 Commentary and Breakdown: The Underrated Sequel

Creepshow 2 doesn't get nearly the respect the original does — but is that actually fair? In this commentary, I'm making the case for why Creepshow 2 is the more effective anthology film: "The Raft" stands as one of the most genuinely terrifying segments in horror anthology history, Tom Savini's practical effects work is on another level, and the pacing across all three segments is tighter than the original ever managed. We break down "Old Chief Wood'nhead," "The Raft," and "The Hitchhiker" and stack them up against Romero and King's original to see which anthology actually holds up better in 2026.
