Healthy Moms, Healthy Babies: Bringing Hope to Families in Kenya

What happens when God takes a nurse's heart for caring for others and uses it to impact mothers and babies halfway around the world?

In this episode of Created for Infinitely More, Shawnee sits down with Mindy, leader of the Mercy's Light Family medical team, for an honest conversation about faith, nursing, and the growing Healthy Moms, Healthy Babies program in Kenya.

Mindy shares her journey into nursing, how God led her to serve with Mercy's Light Family, and the moments in Kenya that have forever changed her perspective. Together, Shawnee and Mindy discuss why prenatal education is so important, the challenges many mothers face, and how simple education, compassionate care, and the love of Jesus are bringing hope to families.

You'll also hear exciting updates about the future of the medical ministry, including the arrival of the new medical clinic and the next steps toward making it a place where mothers and babies can receive education, support, and Christ-centered care for years to come.
