  • When My Worry is Louder than My Faith feat. my 13 year old daughter

When My Fear Gets Louder Than My Faith | Come Sit With Me Podcast

What happens when fear starts speaking louder than faith? In this special episode of Come Sit With Me, I’m sitting down with my 13-year-old to have an honest conversation about fear, anxiety, trusting God, and learning to lean on Him when life feels overwhelming.

Sometimes fear shows up in ways we don't know how to explain, and sometimes even when we love Jesus, we still struggle with worry and doubt. Together, we talk about what it looks like to face those feelings, hold on to God's promises, and remember that having faith doesn't mean we never feel afraid. It means we know Who to turn to when we are.

This is a real conversation between a mama and her child about growing in faith, navigating big feelings, and learning that we don't have to have everything figured out to trust God.

If you've ever felt like your fear was louder than your faith, pull up a chair and come sit with us. ❤️

Scripture to hold on to: “When I am afraid, I put my trust in you.” — Psalm 56:3

Because even when fear gets loud, God's truth is still greater. And there's always room for one more at the table.

  • Be A Light ( with my 7 year old)
    24 Sep 2026

What does it really mean to be a light?

In this sweet episode of Come Sit With Me, I’m joined by my 7-year-old as we talk about what it looks like to let Jesus shine through us in everyday life.

We talk about being kind, including someone who feels left out, helping others, using our words to encourage instead of hurt, and how even kids can make a difference for Jesus.

You don't have to be big. You don't have to be perfect. You don't have to do something huge.

Sometimes being a light is as simple as saying, “You can sit with me.”

Matthew 5:16 reminds us to let our light shine so others can see our good works and glorify our Father in heaven.

So come sit with us and be reminded that even the smallest light can make a dark place brighter. ✨

Tear Off the Roof | Come Sit With Me

What if getting to Jesus means tearing through the roof?

In this episode of Come Sit With Me, we’re talking about the friends who carried a paralyzed man to Jesus—and when the crowd blocked the way, they didn’t turn around. They tore open the roof.

Sometimes faith looks like refusing to let obstacles have the final word. Sometimes we need friends who will carry us when we don't have the strength to get there ourselves. And sometimes we have to be willing to tear off whatever is standing between us and Jesus.

Maybe there’s something in your life that feels impossible right now. Maybe you’ve been praying, waiting, and wondering if anything is going to change.

So grab your coffee, pull up a chair, and come sit with me.

Let’s talk about what it means to have a faith that refuses to stop at the crowd—and what happens when we make a way to get to Jesus.

    Scripture: Mark 2:1-12
