  • Military Culture and Community Service
    27 Oct 2026

Chief Aaron Seibert and co-host Mike DeLeon explore military culture, Navy Chief traditions, veteran camaraderie, and community service through Recon Chief Inc. and veteran-focused partnerships.

    Takeaways:
    • I emphasize that veteran events and organizations provide essential camaraderie and reduce isolation for returning service members.
    • We describe programs like guitar builds, track chairs, and Warrior Built as therapeutic activities that foster skill development, social bonds, and renewed sense of purpose for veterans.
    • I explain that peer support, road trips, and hands on projects often inspire veterans to seek help and file VA claims.
    • We highlight the PTSD Foundation, Camp Hope, and warrior groups as free or low cost resources for extended recovery programs.
    • I report that Recon Chief and partner organizations run races, golf events, and fundraisers which create meaningful veteran engagement and funding.
    • We note technology and AI tools are being taught to veterans to save time, grow businesses, and expand opportunities.
    • I stress that volunteer effort, sponsorship, and small acts of logistical support can have deep therapeutic impact on individual veterans.
    • We urge veterans to find a niche, engage in local groups, and seek practical support rather than remain isolated at home.

  • We Won the VA Art Award: The Story Behind 'Cost of Freedom'
    20 Oct 2026

We introduce Vet Vision as a platform for veterans, sponsors, supporters, and volunteers to speak about service, transition, and recovery. I interview Austin Wagner, a United States Army veteran who became a tattoo artist and later a master engraver. He recounts his eighteen years of service, combat tours to Iraq and Afghanistan, and a medical separation after health issues and PTSD. He explains how engraving and art became a therapeutic path and how his award winning memorial pieces are displayed at the VA. We discuss his creative process, his work with other veterans, and upcoming shows and charity projects. I close by noting how art and community support can aid veteran transition and by sharing how listeners can find and contact Austin.
