  • EP47: Decide What You Want Before You Know How
    26 Oct 2026

For years, I thought my father, Bob Proctor, had this one completely backward.

He would tell me, "Decide what you want. Don't worry about how you'll get it."

    And I'd argue with him.

How could I possibly decide to do something if I didn't know how I was going to make it happen? Where would the money come from? Who would help me? What was the plan?

I thought I was being practical.

What I eventually discovered changed the way I make decisions, pursue goals, and approach opportunities in my life.

My father understood something that took me years to fully appreciate: The how doesn't come before the decision. It comes after.

    Think about that.

Most people spend their lives waiting for the path to become clear before they're willing to commit to a destination. And in doing so, they never really get moving.

In EP47 of Born to Win, I share what it was like growing up with this teaching, why I resisted it for so long, and the moment I finally began to understand what my father was trying to tell me.

    Inside this episode, we'll explore:

    • Why waiting to know how can keep you from ever getting what you really want.

    • The three reasons we resist making decisions, even when our desires are clear.

    • What I learned watching my father build his seminar business without having every step figured out.

    • How making a definite decision changes what you begin noticing in the world around you.

    • Three practical steps you can take to turn a wish into a decision and begin moving toward it.

    • Why you only need to see the next step, not the entire staircase.

I'll also give you a simple exercise you can use this week to identify something you've been putting off and finally begin moving toward it.

Here's what I want you to remember:

You don't need to know how to get what you want before you decide you want it.

You need to get clear. Make the decision. And take the first step.

The next step will reveal itself as you move forward.

My father spent years trying to help me understand this. And now that I do, I want to pass it along to you.

So let me ask you the same question he used to ask me:

Is that what you really want?

If the answer is yes, stop waiting for the entire plan.

    Make the decision.

    And get moving.

  • EP46: The Last Lesson My Father Taught Me
    19 Oct 2026

A few days before my father passed, he knew his time was almost up.

He had spent nearly his entire life teaching people how to think, set goals, make decisions, and change the direction of their lives.

And in those final days, he taught me one more thing.

    It was not about money.

It was not about setting a bigger goal.

It was about something much quieter:

    Intuition.

In this deeply personal episode of Born to Win, I share the final lesson my father, Bob Proctor, impressed upon me before he passed away—and why I have thought about it almost every day since.

My father taught me many things throughout my life.

He taught me to decide what I want before I know how I will get it.

He taught me that decision-making is a skill.

He taught me to look for the good, practice gratitude, and forgive for my own peace of mind.

But near the end of his life, he brought me back to something even more fundamental:

Listen to that quiet inner voice.

    Trust what you know inside.

    In this episode, we explore:

    • Why intuition is so easy to ignore
    • The difference between intuition, fear, and outside noise
    • Why your inner guidance often arrives before logic can explain it
    • How silence helps you hear what is already there
    • Why intuition often shows up physically before it becomes a thought
    • Three practical ways to begin strengthening your intuition
    • How to test your intuition on small decisions before the stakes are high
    • Why logic and intuition do not have to compete
    • The reason this lesson means even more to me now that Dad is gone

One of the things I have come to understand is that intuition is rarely loud.

    Fear is loud.

    Other people’s opinions are loud.

    Your phone is loud.

    Your responsibilities are loud.

    Intuition tends to whisper.

And if your life is filled with noise from the moment you wake up until the moment you go to sleep, it becomes very difficult to hear it.

So in this episode, I also share three simple practices I use to strengthen that connection.

I think often about why my father chose this lesson at the end.

He knew there would eventually be no more phone calls.

    No more:

    “Dad, what should I do?”

So instead of leaving me with another answer...

He gave me a way to find my own.

He pointed me back to myself.

And today, I want to pass that lesson on to you.

  • EP45: 5 Things That Bring Me Peace in a Chaotic World
    12 Oct 2026

Let’s face it. We live in a noisy world.

News. Social media. Notifications. Work. Family. Bills. Responsibilities.

There is always something competing for our attention.

And if we are not careful, the chaos happening around us begins becoming chaos within us.

In this episode of Born to Win, I share five practices I personally use to protect my peace, clear my thinking, and stay focused on what is positive and possible.

These are not ideas I studied once and forgot.

They are things I use in my own life.

And many of them were shaped by the time I spent with my father, Bob Proctor.

The first is something Dad and I used to do during our early-morning phone calls.

And every time we did it, something interesting happened.

    We felt better.

That is what happens when you deliberately place your attention on what is good.

Inside this episode, we explore five ways to create greater peace:

    • Talk good behind people’s backs and live in gratitude • Change your social media algorithm • Use your imagination to live in the good you desire • Do what you can in this moment • Start every day with intention

I also share why Cory deliberately trained her social media feed to show her things that make her smile—and how I have done the same thing with positive lessons and ideas.

Your phone does not have to become a pipeline for anxiety.

You can decide what you feed your mind.

Another principle I explore comes from Neville and The Power of Awareness.

You do not have to wait for your circumstances to improve before you experience peace.

You can use your imagination to see yourself already living the good you desire.

That does not mean ignoring reality.

It means refusing to allow your current circumstances to dictate your consciousness.

And when life begins feeling overwhelming, I come back to one very simple question:

What can I do right now?

    Not everything.

    One thing.

One phone call. One page. One conversation. One step.

There is enormous peace in stopping the fight with the entire future and simply showing up fully for the present.

Finally, I share how I begin my own mornings.

    Before the news.

    Before social media.

Before other people’s agendas enter my mind.

I take quiet time to think about what I want, how I want to show up, and what I can do that day to move one step closer to my goals.

Because the way you start your day matters.

You can begin by reacting to the world.

Or you can begin with intention.

The world may continue being noisy.

You may not be able to control everything happening around you.

But you have far more control than you think over what you allow to happen within you.

    Choose gratitude.

    Choose possibility.

    Choose peace.
