Season 4: Episode 13: Beyond the Old Jail: Exploring Fauquier County’s Haunted History

Sometimes the best paranormal opportunities are the ones you didn't plan for.

This week, Paranormal Lens is changing the schedule.

Our good friend Steve Dills joins us with special guest Kristie Wingenbach of Fauquier's Ghosts to introduce us to a fascinating collection of historic locations in Fauquier County, Virginia.

Kristie and Dale Lowery work with Fauquier County Parks and Recreation, teaching classes and leading paranormal investigations at historic locations throughout the area.

Their approach puts history at the center of the investigation—using names, dates, documented events and local stories to understand the places they're investigating.

For years, the Old Jail in Warrenton was essentially the only location in the area available for paranormal investigation. Now, their program is opening the doors to a growing list of historic locations.

We'll talk about:

• Chapman-Beverley Mill
• The John Marshall Building
• O'Brien's Irish Pub
• Cast Iron
• The John Barton Payne Building
• The Old Jail in Warrenton
• Chilton House Suites
• And a special undisclosed location revealed to ticket holders on the day of the event.

We'll also hear about the recent investigation at Chapman-Beverley Mill and what that successful event could mean for future opportunities at the location.

Most importantly, we'll meet Kristie and learn how history and paranormal investigation come together in Fauquier County.

And there's one other possibility...

Could Paranormal Lens be planning a road trip?

Join Jamie, Kirstin and Chad for a special conversation about history, hauntings and the doors that are finally opening.

Stay alert, stay respectful, and stay curious.
