Mr. Jay is a Certified Betrayal Trauma Practitioner and Intrapersonal Relationship Coach based in the Washington DC–Baltimore area. He holds a master's degree in education, is a certified special-education teacher, and is ministry credentialed. Before stepping into the mental health field, he spent a decade teaching students with special needs and another decade as a full-time stay-at-home dad. Today, he helps individuals and couples move through the stages from betrayal to breakthrough — combining lived experience with professional training in trauma healing. He is also the author of a children's book and a betrayal trauma healing journal, a veteran of the U.S. military, and an adoptive parent.
