Forged from the leftovers of a Westwide flea market and bound together by ancient duct tape and friendship, Beans, Vanilla, and Heresy set out on a quest of comedy and nonsense that accidentally turned into a podcast. They are as surprised by the outcome as anyone.

Join these three friends as they laugh at each other through constant interruptions and occasional points of seriousness. They harangue about everything from the absurd to the serious, while honoring their families and their faith.

  • BVH 022 | I Asked AI to Find a Lost Fortune… Here's What Happened
    19 Oct 2026

What happens when you ask artificial intelligence to solve a centuries-old mystery involving a hidden fortune in gold? Apparently, not much. But that doesn't stop Adam from trying.

This week on Beans, Vanilla & Heresy, the guys explore the weirdest things they've asked AI to do, debate whether artificial intelligence is destroying creativity or unlocking it, and attempt to explain a legitimate psychological phenomenon without knowing what they're talking about.

Plus, the debut of Confidently Incorrect, another round of Is It Medicine?, an unexpectedly touching coffee story, a discussion about when encouragement becomes bullying, and the difference between David Goggins and Walton Goggins.

Lost treasure, robot prayers, prescription drugs, pumpkin spice donuts, and a surprising amount of actual insight. It's another episode of Beans, Vanilla & Heresy.

Subscribe, share, and join the growing ranks of Baniacs. Or heretics. We're still fighting about that.

  • BVH 021 | AI Robots, Aliens & the Mandela Effect: Can We Trust Anything?
    12 Oct 2026

Would you buy a robot to clean your house—or insist on fighting it first? This week on Beans, Vanilla & Heresy, Adam’s birthday celebration spirals into humanoid robot bodyguards, AI bosses, and why Cody says “please” and “thank you” to artificial intelligence.

The guys also explore the Dark Forest theory, stumble into the Sinbad-and-Shaq Mandela effect, and wonder what future historians would make of the Tide Pod challenge. Along the way: a suspicious pair of khaki pants, painful bargain haircuts, frozen pipes, and Joe Diffie nostalgia that somehow becomes a Weekend at Bernie’s funeral plan.

Birthday wisdom is in short supply. Questionable plans are plentiful.

  • BVH 020 | Gen Alpha Explained: Mogging, Chuds, and The Lion King
    5 Oct 2026

What happens when three grown men try to decode Gen Alpha slang? Apparently you get mogging, chuds, Chads, buns, cheeks, and the uncomfortable realization that we’re slowly becoming our grandparents.

This week on Beans, Vanilla & Heresy, we introduce Asher’s Corner, attempt to speak the language of the youths, revisit some of our favorite potential BVH stickers, and discover that our imaginary screenplay now includes Filthy Rich, Edward “Cheeks” McGillicuddy, and Big Fat Cinnamon Roll.

Then things get unexpectedly substantive. Adam shares a lesson his mom taught him about praying for an opening in traffic—and how that simple habit became a reminder that God’s love isn’t something we can lose by being too bad or earn by being good enough. That leads to a conversation about prayer, God’s kindness, and trusting His goodness when we don’t know what outcome to ask for.

Finally, Who Are You? takes on The Lion King. We assign ourselves Simba, Pumbaa, Rafiki, Mufasa, Scar—and somehow end up discussing Kimba the White Lion, George Lucas, murder mysteries, wildebeests, and the philosophical benefits of having a tail.

Gen Alpha slang, theology, The Lion King, friendship, prayer, and several arguments that probably didn’t need to happen.

    We’re Beans, Vanilla & Heresy.
