Being one of the only movies about Vietnam that is not pro-American propaganda about the war, Monsoon follows Kit as he tries to get back in touch with his roots while scattering his parents ashes. Hong Khaou directs this subtle fish out of water story that showcases the colours of Vietnam from the South to the North. At the same time, we discuss whether embalming communist leaders is quirky or creepy - this one is a real spectrum guys.
