Second part of a 2 part episode.
Aristotle is convinced that clear thinking is the foundation of a clear life. And in a world full of noise, persuasion, rhetoric, half‑truths, and confident people who are wrong with great enthusiasm… Aristotle’s logic feels surprisingly modern.
For Aristotle, logic is about clarity, honesty, intellectual humility, the pursuit of truth, and the health of the soul. Logic for him is a type of discipline. It trains the mind the way virtue trains the character. It teaches us to slow down, to examine, to test, to question, to follow the thread of an idea all the way to its conclusion. And in that sense, Aristotle’s logic is not just a tool for philosophers; it’s a tool for life.
