We finally sat down to dissect a movie that apparently everyone but Deric saw decades ago: An American Werewolf in London. For a film that practically invented the prestige horror-comedy and bagged the very first Academy Award for Best Makeup, we had a surprising amount of questions. Why did David's parents completely abandon him in a London hospital while in a coma? Why didn't David just try punching the cop(Bobbie?) to get thrown in jail? And how heavy were those giant 1980s jackets after getting soaked on the British moors?

We dig into the groundbreaking practical effects by Rick Baker (who may or may not have anger management issues), the chaotic car pileups in Piccadilly Circus, and the wild fact that this movie basically served as the blueprint for Michael Jackson's "Thriller" music video (and yes, we’ll be discussing that next week). Plus, we introduce our new favorite way to play the casting game: swapping in entire casts from other movies and TV shows. Wait until you hear how seamlessly the characters from Seinfeld and Good Will Hunting slot into a bloody lycanthrope nightmare!
