Today on AmericanaMusic.com we’re excited to welcome Pug Johnson. The Texas native is releasing his third full length album, From a Beaumont Bar on Break Maiden Records and Thirty Tigers. With honky-tonk influences ranging from Western Swing’s Bob Will’s to Rock-a-Billy’s Jerry Lee Lewis to Bakersfield Sound of Merle Haggard. The combination of Pug’s distinctive vocals and stellar musicians on the records, make From a Beaumont Bar hit like an old favorite country record you never get tired of listening to.
