Hip-hop is often associated with rap music or b-boy dancing, but hip-hop is actually more than just the music and dance moves. It is a space for expressing one’s roots, identity and sense of community. In this episode, we introduce listeners to Badvibes Battle, an international hip-hop dance competition that goes beyond a battle for championship belt for dancers, but a place where hip-hop meets Thai culture through sight, taste, smell, sound and touch.

This episode is hosted by Pure, featuring Thrixept, the founder and organizer of Badvibes Battle. They are here to share their journey as passionate dancers who drew inspiration from their travels to pioneer this international hip-hop dance festival in Southeast Asia.
