All Learning Reimagined with Teresa Reimagining the Way We Do Business - Rich Awaretrepreneur Reimagining Business Through Awareness and Ancient Circle Work with Rich Ladimer Teresa welcomes Rich Ladimer, founder of Awarepreneur Tribe, for a conversation about building businesses on awareness, ancient clan and circle traditions, and genuine human connection rather than competition and burnout. Welcoming Rich Ladimer To The Show Teresa opens the episode by thanking listeners for their warm response to her recent series on imagination, then introduces her guest, Rich Ladimer, founder of Awarepreneur Tribe, a growing global community for conscious entrepreneurs, business owners, and leaders. She describes how Rich blends modern business development with ancient principles of circle, clan, shared wisdom, and human connection, helping founders build successful businesses while staying aligned with their values and sense of purpose. Rich thanks Teresa for the welcome and jokes that he has never before had a host sing her own introduction, noting that he is a musician by trade and that music is where this work of his really began. Teresa agrees that music and humming carry real power, and the two settle into an easy rapport before Teresa poses her opening question: why the word awarepreneur, and why build this community now. The Candle Metaphor For Awareness Rich explains that the word awareness has guided him for years without being tied to any single spiritual modality. He shares a mentor's image of being blindfolded in a pitch-black room, then having the blindfold removed and a single candle lit, revealing only a desk and a pen. As more candles are added, the sphere of what becomes visible keeps expanding. He describes an earlier project, The Awareness Shows, in which he toured high schools worldwide using music to open conversations about pain, drug and alcohol abuse, violence, and suicide. He says this sense of expanding awareness carried him through difficult periods of his own life. An awarepreneur, he says, is someone who consistently shines that light onto their own spiritual, mental, emotional, and relational fields, then combines that personal expansion with ancient frameworks for how humans collaborate and amplify awareness together, much like adding more lit candles around the same table. Clan Work Meets The Entrepreneurial Journey Rich extends the candle image: as more people sit at the table and light their own candles, the room grows brighter together. He calls this clan work, circle work, or morphic field work, noting that the business world often calls similar gatherings masterminds, which he reframes as master heart and minds. He observes a global tension between a rising desire to expand awareness about financial, environmental, and political realities and competing pressures urging people to stay small, scroll social media, and remain grateful for a job for decades. Teresa connects this to her own experience running two businesses and to a recent show where she discussed the red pill, blue pill, and her preferred green pill of creating rather than consuming others' ideas. Rich agrees, describing Awarepreneur as a global network and online platform building toward future retreats and in-person events, offering people a space to discover and support this kind of connection collaboratively. Discerning Healthy Ambition From Burnout Teresa asks how Rich helps people tell healthy ambition apart from ambition that costs them themselves, given how common burnout has become. Rich answers that surrounding oneself with loving, aware, accountable people changes how burnout is processed, even without a quick fix; he says he has faced multiple levels of burnout building Awarepreneur himself. He distinguishes burnout from trauma resurfacing disguised as burnout, which can trigger victimhood instead of growth. He describes the Foundations course, an eighteen-module, nine-month program paired with fortnightly calls, workshops, and networking, leading into smaller Mentor 7 clan groups for deeper work. Rich is careful to say Awarepreneur is not selling a stress-free utopia; people will keep facing cycles of overwhelm, but the aim is to face them openly, together, rather than alone, with each person's own balance emerging through expanded awareness and support. Roots In The Desert And Aboriginal Community Teresa asks what led Rich back to circle and clan traditions. Rich, born in 1977, describes living between ages nine and fourteen without electricity or running water in what he calls a real hippie, drop-out community, then reassimilating into society and finding deep communion with his Aboriginal family, witnessing connection patterns thousands of years old. He says circle and tribal work saved his life repeatedly, and he has run a men's circle at his house roughly every two weeks for nearly fifteen years, connected to the men's mental health movement and work with Dr. Arne Rubinstein. The pivotal moment ...
