      Now that I’m in my sixties, I realize more than ever the impact that health has on everything else we do in life. It’s the foundation upon which everything else is built! No matter your age, if you neglect your health, it will slow all of your efforts to improve every other aspect of your life.

      I put my own health on the back burner for decades. I was still able to accomplish some amazing things. But, if I want to keep doing what I do for many years to come, I need to upgrade the role that healthy habits play in my life. It’s something I’ve always struggled with.

      The good news: I finally figured out the solution! I discovered something that is making a big difference and getting results. I explain it in this short video. It’s just five-and-a-half minutes. And it just might change your life.

      What are affirmations?
      Affirmations are intentional, positive statements that help train your mind to focus on what you want to experience more of in your life. When you repeat them consistently, they gently shift your inner dialogue from doubt, fear, or self-criticism toward confidence, trust, and possibility. Over time, this new way of thinking influences how you feel, the choices you make, and how you show up in the world.

      Why do affirmations work?
      Affirmations work because your mind believes what you repeatedly tell it—especially when those words are spoken calmly and with presence. When you replace habitual negative thoughts with supportive ones, you reduce mental resistance and emotional stress.
