  • Titan Wealth Weekly Market Update - Monday 19th October
    26 Oct 2026

Welcome to this week’s Titan International market review for the week ending 18th October 2026.

It was a bruising week for technology investors.

The trigger for the technology rout was a broader reassessment of AI economics rather than any single negative event.

The macroeconomic backdrop did nothing to help. September CPI came in at 3.7% year on year, above the 3.6% expected and sharply higher than August’s 3.4%, with gasoline prices accounting for more than half of the monthly increase.

US retail sales rose 0.8% in September, well ahead of the 0.3% consensus, though the headline masked a much softer underlying picture.

European equities had a considerably better week.

  • Titan Wealth Weekly Market Update - Monday 28th September
    28 Sep 2026

Welcome to this week’s Titan International market review for the week ending 27th September 2026.

Equity markets managed a positive week, though the gains masked a bond market that continued to deteriorate at an alarming pace.

The bond market is another matter entirely.

The dollar has been a direct beneficiary of the Fed's tightening, rising 0.6% against a basket of major currencies on the week and 2.3% above its recent September low.

On the geopolitical front, there was genuine relief.

The week ahead brings the US September jobs report on Friday, the single most important data point the Fed will receive before October's meeting.

  • Titan Wealth Weekly Market Update - Monday 21st September
    21 Sep 2026

Welcome to this week’s Titan International market review for the week ending 20th September 2026.

Global equity markets ended the week mixed in what will be remembered as one of the most consequential weeks for monetary policy in several years.

The week's dominant event was Wednesday's FOMC decision.

The early part of the week was dominated by an unexpected development in the AI space.

The 10-year US Treasury yield briefly touched 5.04% intraday — its highest level since 2007 — early in the week as fresh Saudi infrastructure attacks and record diesel prices amplified inflation anxiety, before retreating to 4.94% on Thursday as reports emerged that pipeline damage may be less severe than initially feared.

In Europe, the STOXX 600 fell 0.57% and in a notable market milestone, L'Oréal overtook LVMH to become France's most valuable listed company for the first time since 2017.
