2025 was a great year so many amazing things happened. I am so grateful I did the podcast for 1 year stright. I felt a strong pull to do it. I am grateful I can look back on this yeat and know that I finished my goal but I am also not scared to change and start soemthing new or continue on what I previously have been working on and in this case I am going to start working on my book again and hopefully by the end of 2026 I can have it finished. Remember that change may be hard but it can be a chance to become better.

Patriarchal blessings are such a gift and I am so gratful that I have been blessed to receive mine. They are able to help navigate you through life decisions, help you better understand what you were life in the pre-mortal life which is pretty amazing. Most people don't fall away from the church by simply making one huge decision to leave. Majority of people fall away because they stop doing the small things. When we choose to act in faith even when logically it may not make sense we can know and understand that God keeps his promises to bless us when we keep his Commandments. Let us all just make one more better decision today so we can stay on the covenant path and not stray to far.

When things seem so chaotic, frustrating, and hard sometimes you truly need to be knocked up on the side of the head to be reminded that Jesus does weep with us when we hurt, lonley, self critical, etc that he wants us to know that we cares for us. Try not to physicallt get his upside the head to learn this lesson but for me, something physical needed to happen to help me to understand this.

When we choose to be honest two very important things happen. One we ourselves feel peace, and second we are showing God that we love him. Having intergiry in all that you do even when things would be so easy to lie about is so important to remain truthful. Having a business there are a lot of things that you could justify not paying beause truthfully some of the things business charge you for are stupid. But as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ and a representative of him, I am choosing to trust him even when obeying and honoring the law is a bit messy. I choose to put my trust in him and do my best and he will bless us.

Everday we make decisions! If you are a normal human being 95% of the time you make good decision throughout the day. We choose to get up, help our kids get ready, we go to work, we do the laundry, we eat food, we are honest, we are kind. Most of these are habits we have developed with time and we don't really have to get up everyday and ask ourselves, am I going to be kind today? But something that I have been thinking a lot about is, how those small mundane decisions will lead to big ones. Whether they be good or evil. And those will ultimately determin our outcome. Example, because Ian and I decide everyday to read the scriptures with our kids, and pray, there is something deep down that our kids are learning and that we are learning. So please don't ever under estimate the power of small daily decisions.

Agency is one of the best gifts that we have been given, the choice to choose what we want in life is pretty divine and perfect. If we chose Satans plan then he would force us to do everything the way he wants us to do it. An analogy that I love is, you are walking down a path and its a good path, what the spirit does is invites us to turn on the path for more light and knowledge, the spirit doesn't force us to turn on the path. The spirits job is to invite, and comfort us. We are the ones that choose to accept the invitations. With invitations will require change I am sure of it, but God never invites us to go a different way, he invites us to go a certain way if its a good thing. God wants us to feel powerful because he knows how potential and our ability to change not only ourselves but the people around us.
