2 Things Can Be True is a relationship show built on one simple idea: two people can experience the same relationship, see the same situation completely differently — and somehow, both can be right.

Hosted by real-life couple Kas and Lellies, the show brings two perspectives to the conversations couples have every day but don’t always agree on. From love, sex and communication to money, trust, friendships, dating, marriage and the unwritten rules of relationships, nothing is off limits.

Sometimes they agree. Sometimes they’re on completely opposite sides. And sometimes the truth is somewhere in the middle.

Rooted in Black culture, hip-hop and real-life experiences, Two Things Can Be True is funny, honest, unfiltered and relatable — because being in a relationship isn’t always about proving who’s right. Sometimes, two things really can be true.

Two perspectives. One relationship. A whole lot to talk about.

  • Who Taught You How to Love? Breaking the Patterns We Grew Up With
    25 Sep 2026

Who taught you how to love?

In Episode 5 of Two Things Can Be True, Kas and Lellies look back at the relationships they witnessed growing up—and how those experiences followed them into adulthood.

From watching parents argue and make up without ever really resolving the problem, to seeing cheating, sacrifice, single parenting and different versions of what “love” was supposed to look like, they unpack the lessons they kept…and the ones they had to unlearn.

Kas opens up about growing up believing you could do wrong in a relationship and somehow still work it out, while Lellies shares how watching her father navigate relationships shaped what she knew she DIDN’T want in a partner.

And when the conversation turns to their own relationship, they get honest about arguments, communication, stubbornness and realizing sometimes the fight isn't really about what you think it is.

Can you love someone without repeating the relationship patterns you grew up watching?

    21 Sep 2026

Kas and Lellies get personal about growth, ambition, sacrifice, and how relationships change when two people’s goals don’t always line up.

After celebrating Lellies’ career wins at Essence Fest, the conversation turns to how much they’ve both changed since they first met. From self-sabotage and learning to bet on yourself to becoming more patient, more confident, and more intentional, they reflect on the versions of themselves they’ve had to leave behind.

Then things get real: What happens when one person is ready to start a family while the other is still chasing career goals? Kas opens up about wanting another child, while Lellies explains why she still wants time to go hard for her career.

They also debate the sacrifices people make for love, whether you should relocate for your partner’s dream opportunity, whether long-distance relationships actually work, and one of the biggest questions of the episode: Do you have to be selfish to become successful?

  • What About Your Friends?!
    21 Sep 2026

Kas and Lellies are talking about one of the trickiest parts of being in a relationship: your friends.

What happens when your partner doesn’t like one of your friends? Should your partner meet everyone in your circle? Can you have an opposite-sex best friend without crossing boundaries? And how much of your relationship business should you really be telling your friends?

Kas and Lellies get personal about their own friend groups, why they may actually be too close as a couple, friends knowing too much, respecting opposite-sex friendships, and whether you should tell your partner something that could completely change their happiness.

Then they close things out with quick-fire questions—including the big one: If your partner and your best friend don’t get along, who comes first?
