  • Ross Lewis: Facing Fear, Connecting Cultures & Choosing Positivity
    31 Aug 2026

Ross Lewis is a creator from Columbus, Ohio, whose journey into content creation started from an unexpected place: fear.

After developing phagophobia — a fear of choking and eating — Ross began struggling to eat in public and at one point lost 30–40 pounds. Instead of continuing to avoid that fear, he began making videos at locally owned restaurants, pushing himself outside his comfort zone while sharing the stories of the people and places around him.

Since then, his videos have taken him across different countries and cultures, from conversations with an ice cream vendor in Peru to two men painting a church in Puerto Rico.

In this interview, Ross and I talk about overcoming fear, spreading positivity, connecting with people from different cultures, his eight years serving in the U.S. Air Force, and the lessons he’s learned from strangers around the world.

We talk about identity, mindset, disability, entrepreneurship and what it means to stop letting your circumstances define who you can become.

  • Angus Dine: More Than Just an Athlete | Interview 101/1000
    13 Aug 2026

At 18 years old, Angus Dine has already spent years chasing success in the 100m and 200m — but his journey has involved far more than just running fast.

In this conversation, Angus opens up about the reality behind sprinting: training 10–15 hours a week for a race that can be over in around 10 seconds, dealing with repeated injuries, and the pressure of knowing that one mistake can completely change a season.

We also talk about what injuries have taught him, why discipline matters more than motivation, and one of the biggest lessons he’s learned along the way — you are more than your sport.

Angus reflects on separating his identity from athletics, finding purpose outside of competition, studying physiotherapy, and using his own experiences to eventually help others.

His goal is still to win another national gold and compete internationally, but regardless of where athletics takes him, Angus wants to continue growing as a person and using the lessons he learns to make a difference.

This is Angus Dine’s story — about sport, setbacks, discipline, identity, and continuing to move forward.
