Great read after Relentless or even on it's own
Another great reality check by Tim S. Grover. I ordered the physical copy 20 minutes and put in my favorites. Easily digestible. You don't have time, it's a daily sprint. Give it your all. Make it count, stay focused. Will definetly read it again.

Used car salesman handbook
If you are a sleepy used car salesman, or a person with no drive or ambition whatsoever, you may get something out of this book. You won’t get much, granted, but you make get something.
If you are a healthy, ambitious person who is trying your best to achieve your goals and have a fulfilling, joyful life, you will get absolutely nothing from this book. It will be a complete and utter waste of your time. It’s almost depressing how much time I wasted listening to this guy. He isn’t even a good used car salesman. He’s mediocre, at best. He’s a high school baseball coach - a walking cliche dictionary.
This is truly one of the most irritating books on all of audible.

Not Inspiring or Motivational
I listen to many productivity, leadership and motivational audio books and podcasts. I have not listened to Relentless, and definitely will not after this experience. I hope Relentless was better than this. I cannot think of a single original idea or inspiration that came to me from listening to this audio book. Here is the entire book summarized in one sentence. Winning requires 100% commitment, that’s what MJ and Kobe did.

One of the best books I’ve listened to in the last 10 years
If you’re looking for a step by step road map to success. Look somewhere else.
If you want a guide on how to change the way you think about what it takes to achieve personal success. Then you’ve found one of the best books ever written to do so.
This book is for those that know what they need to do but don’t know why they haven’t been able to do it yet. It will shed light on how the way you think and your overall approach to you’re goals is the reason why you reach them or fall short.

Winning isn’t what you think it is!
When people think about winning they often visualize the trophies, cheering crowds and the sense of accomplishment. Sure, it’s all those things. But it’s so much more. And it’s not all sunshine and roses. It’s gritty, unforgiving, obsessive, uncivilized, and worse.
Tim Grover and Shari Wenk have masterfully painted a picture of what winning is like for those who do it over and over again at the highest levels. The MJ’s and Kobe’s of the world. Two phenomenal athletes who dominated in basketball, but who also didn’t accept their wins in that arena as being “enough.” Mr. Grover knows firsthand all that those two greats sacrificed to build their careers because he was by their side through much of it.
I’ve been privileged to have been allowed in the Down and Dirty mentoring group since it began two years ago. During those two years my career and resilience have skyrocketed thanks to what I’ve learned from Tim, Shari and the other allies in the group. This book is the distillation of those two years of mentoring. There is an incredible wealth of knowledge in this book and you would be well served to truly study it and come back to it over and over for additional listens to see how the ideas hit you differently after you’ve had some time to ponder them and grow.

Just a lot of talk about nothing.
Really disappointed with this book. Just seemed like a guy full of himself. Had to return half way through. If you're into self promotion and sports stories this may be for you. I just could not stomach it.

Really cheesy….
Author thinks he’s revealing the truths of the universe but full of trite cliches and platitudes. Constantly contradicts himself and book is full of nonspecific advice. Side note did have some interesting stories about Kobe and Michael

Clean(er) follow-up to Relentless
If you enjoyed Relentless will enjoy w1nning as well. Definitely different to other books out there about this topic but because of this difference it made it for me that much more interesting.
The only thing which could made it even better would be the sequence of chapter to personal note by the author. I missed a summary after each chapter from the author compared to audio books like „can‘t hurt me“. In W1nning the author comments are only at the beginning of each chapter, having it additionally at the end would make the transition to new topics a lot smoother.

Klare Empfehlung!

Sehr empfehlenswert!
Danke Herr Grover!
